The Lenish are a people who live in the floating Cloud State, which they themselves call Lenise. It is not known for sure when or how they came to live in a place like this, or even how such a place could exist. However, the lack of knowledge of its possibility or functionality does not negate the reality that Lenise exists.
Lenise is an immense cloud in the shape of a huge mountain, at least two dozen kilometers high. Throughout the entire extension of this grandiose structure floating in the sky, the Lenish live. They are not a race-based civilization like the Dranate or the Sindarklai, having practically all the sentient races of Eredwyn as their citizens.
Lenise has spent most of history being known as an unlikely legend. Because they live in an immense cloud, the Lenish are able to grow plants and food without difficulties, such as droughts for example. The plants simply absorb water from the cloud itself and, because they are in the sky, they receive direct sunlight, without obstacles, allowing for the almost complete absence of hunger and food shortages. However, for any other raw material, such as metals and wood, the Lenish make small incursions into the ground. Sometimes they simply collect the resources and return to Lenise unnoticed, while other times they carry out real commercial exchanges with different cultures and civilizations, always posing as people who live on Earth. The important thing is to return with the necessary resources and not attract the attention of Earthlings.
Although they are quite skeptical of Earthlings, the Lenish have never shown themselves to be hostile or even prejudiced towards them. In their hiding, the Lenish have become a very peaceful people and observers of what they call the “World Below”.
It was only when the dragon Gralgor began his campaign of worldwide devastation that the Lenish risked their anonymity. They descended from their Cloud State and took as many people as they could from the region where they were to Lenise. When the beast arrived, the Cloud State closed again, posing as an immense cloud that was promptly ignored by the monster. Thus, countless Earthlings were saved by the Lenish and lived among them. When the dragon was slain by Otes Abiak, a portion of the saved people decided to return to the land, to the people they were part of. Without stopping a single will, the Lenish returned them to the Underworld, to the same region from which they had been taken. This region was the Kereth Desert, which was now ruled by the One Pharaoh Kenast. It was not long before someone revealed the existence of Lenise. The first thing Kenast did was to send a delegation to the Cloud State, with himself present. The One Pharaoh thanked the residents of Lenise for having saved so many of his people, for allowing them to live among them, and for treating them with such dignity and kindness. At first, the Lenish thought that their relationship with the newly founded Pharagort would be one of great friendship, cooperation, and respect. However, after the genuine thanks, the Lenish were surprised by Kenast’s request for submission. The One Pharaoh argued that the Cloud State floated in the sky above his territory. And he would not tolerate the presence of someone who was not clearly on his side, as this would generate unrest and fear for the pharagort’s people, in addition to a constant threat hanging over Kenast at all times.
The Lenish stated that they had no intention whatsoever of attacking the World Below or even of getting involved in any conflict that exists or will exist. Quietness and concealment have always been the way of life of the Lenish, always outside the wars of the terrestrial world. Although Kenast heard and understood the statements, he knew that a way of life could be changed with a simple change of leadership. He could not risk the safety of his people and territory just because the Lenish stated that they did not want to attack them. No one could guarantee that this will would be maintained tomorrow.
In the end, the Lenish did not submit to the One Pharaoh and his pharagort, declaring themselves neutral regarding the terrestrial conflicts. Kenast thanked them for the friendly meeting and the excellent treatment with which he and his subordinates had been received in the Cloud State. But he could not tolerate it continuing to float in his territory. Since they were not part of the Pharagort nor were they subordinates to it, Kenast considered them an enemy within his lands. He asked the Lenish to take the Cloud State far away, outside of his borders. As a way of thanking them for what they had done for his people, Kenast gave them a significant amount of time to leave the sky of his lands. If the time ran out, and they were still within the Pharagort, they would be treated like any other non-ally within the territory of the One Pharaoh.

King Of Winds
Cardinals
Second only to the King of Winds are the Cardinals. With a total of four members, each of the Cardinals governs a quarter of the Cloud State, divided between the four regions of Lenise. The four Cardinals are divided between the Cardinal of Boresa, the North region; the Cardinal of Tonus, the South region; the Cardinal of Ervok, the East region; and the Cardinal of Rofiz, the West region.
Each Cardinal is more than a statesman and political leader. Despite the peaceful and quiet nature of Lenise, all of the Cardinals are great experts in combat and magic, and are also the top military leaders of their respective regions.

Svorthror, Boresa Cardinal
Svorthror is the Cardinal of Boresa, ruling over the northern region. He is the only one of the cardinals who is not of a winged race, having no natural ability to fly. However, he makes up for this by being, famously, the strongest of the four. Being of the giant race, he has strength as his birthright.
Considered the best warrior among the cardinals, and in all of Lenise, he carries his immense warhammer Okren. Mixed with immense thunder power, each strike of Svorthror’s hammer is like hearing a powerful lightning bolt, the sound of which is capable of shaking windows in the World Below.
