Gilasus, The First Hero, climbs the highest mountain in the world, Mount Olis, receiving 100 blessings from the gods to defeat all the Colossus.
Years later, he migrates with all his people from the city of Gilasia in Angoria to the middle of the Gorpuren archipelago, where they found the city of New Gilasia. Before he died, Gilasus locked 99 of his 100 blessings inside a safe that was one of these blessings. All these blessings would only be carried by someone who was worthy in the future. He left only Drakynea, The Kion’s Sword, embedded in a stone in New Gilasia, which could only be taken by the right person.

The Dranate uses Nafectis to bring the interegor Golenat and his infinite allies to Eredwyn, thus destroying the kingdom of Palad in the eastern center of the continent. Golenat kept Palad’s HOLY spirit, Paladia, for his experiments.
Contrary to what Maliris had imagined, Golenat conquered the kingdom of Palad for himself. With both possessing immense strength, Maliris’ Dranate and Golenat’s Unholy Alliance decided to form a partnership, not attacking each other, as they both shared access to the infinite energy of the Nafectis.
That is as long as neither stumbles, at that moment, each will take pleasure in making the other fall once and for all.

The dragon Gralgor, the largest in history, begins his campaign of worldwide devastation.
He started in the east, with Golenat. Even with immense numbers and the forces of several universal gods, the dragon defeated all efforts to stop him, and it was Gralgor himself who gouged out Groltar’s right eye and right arm. The World Burner, though defeated and mutilated, felt admiration for the strength of the First Calamity.
The End of the World sympathized with the corrupt, vile and cruel society that Golenat ruled. So he ended up accepting Golenat’s surrender, as long as his troops fought for Gralgor, and Golenat’s government continued to pay taxes and devotion to the dragon.
With the armies of Golenat, Gralgor ravaged the icy city of Gelvalar in the southern mountains of Chiasa with fire and death.
7
Artus created the Cult of Calamity, devoted entirely to Gralgor, The First Calamity. They accompanied the Beast, observing with admiration the trail of death and destruction he left in his wake. Even tempted to kill all those fools who worshipped him, a black dragon like Gralgor saw more value in servitude than in gold, allowing the Cult to serve him with blind devotion and cruel fanaticism.
Gralgor begins to ravage the Dranate, starting with the extreme southeast of the continent. He burned down the entire city of Vornita in less than an hour. The firepower that day was such that the city was forever blackened, and for many decades the ashes of the people killed in Vornita still glow in the shape of their skeletons. The city earned the nickname “First End” because it was the moment when Gralgor demonstrated his greatest strength in terms of obliterating life.
8
Otes has his parents burned alive by the dragon Gralgor. Before burning, his father, Olesis, manages to throw him into the sea, while Otes was holding the white dragon egg. He then arrived unconscious on the beaches of the Gorpuren archipelago, still hugging the dragon egg.
While Otes was unconscious, the egg hatched. The three-headed white dragon that would be Otes’ brother, Beud, was born. They were found by the Gilasi, and were adopted by Lal, Ilid (leader) of the Plark (tribe) Traili. Otes and Beud would spend the next few years living with the Gilasi of the Gorpuren Archipelago while training to kill Gralgor.
Maliris surrenders Dranate to the dragon Gralgor, preventing further destruction in his kingdom. The dragon then moves to the isolated region of Desoria, where he helps the monstrous race of Oni seize power against the mortals who live there, leaving the Oni Hanadon as ruler of the region.
9
Gralgor arrives in the northern and icy region of Joturn, attacking the tribe he considered the strongest, the giant tribe, Jortar. Even with immense fighting, fire, panic and death, Gralgor noticed a giant sitting calmly and enjoying a bonfire of trees. For that giant, the dragon’s fire was as bothersome as that bonfire. After killing the tribe’s leader, Gralgor named that giant as the new chief of the Jortar tribe, this was Voligar.
Voligar attacks the Orbrean tribe, annihilating them, killing their leader Astov, and tying his arms to the defeated tribe’s hammer and taking him to his capital to keep the corpse hanging as a prize.
Gralgor attacks the spiritual nomadic tribe Uiven in the middle of one of their traditions, decimating them without a chance to counterattack.
The orc tyrant Grozur of the Angoria region, knowing of the dragon’s approach, kidnapped the Helaw people, a people with immense magical power, but a pacifist culture. They were enslaved and their city was plundered and destroyed, and their most powerful magicians were forced to build a barrier around Grozur’s city, Labikla, which would protect it from the dragon Gralgor who was setting the world on fire. Refusing to create the barrier, the Helaw prophet, Daenos, was executed, saying, before he died, that his people should always look to the sky, even imprisoned, the stars would always be there, and one day, more than one sun would shine on their free faces again. Grozur imprisoned the defenseless children of the magicians, and would kill them if they did not build and maintain the barrier, or use their magic for anything other than that. Without seeing the light of the sun, and only the stars at night, they remained there, captives. This was the Labiklian Captivity.
10
In Angoria, despite the dragon Gralgor’s attempts to break through Labikla’s magical barriers with sheer brute force alone, he was unable to do so. The dragon gave up, not one to dwell on anything that wasn’t worth it. There were other places to burn and people to kill.
Frustrated at his failure to enter Labikla, the First Calamity took out his anger on the Sarcen people of Angoria. Even though they had considerable numbers, it was like killing a bunch of ants to Gralgor. This forced the Sarcens to move what remained of their people to the remote shores of Angoria.
Descending into the desert of Kereth, King Jamast did not even wait for the dragon to begin his wave of destruction, he promptly bowed to the beast. The dragon knew that Jamast was a good king, the kind who would sacrifice himself for his people. But at that moment, the Beast saw him as nothing more than a weakling, and despite everything, he accepted the proposal. He liked having a weakling who gave up serving him.
In the center of the continent, in Swormundi, Gralgor met dozens of large dragons who had come to meet him. Many were there because they wanted to be, and others seemed to be forced to be. But they all followed Galvork, a gigantic red dragon with 5 heads, his size was surpassed only by Gralgor himself. Galvork was representing all those dragons. He proposed that he and his dragons join with Gralgor to conquer the world together for the dragon race. Gralgor replied: “This world is not for Dragons. This world is for Calamity.”
A great battle took place, dozens of dragons with different breaths against the gigantic Gralgor. Despite the disadvantage, Gralgor won, making Galvork and his companions flee. Dragons were never seen much in Eredwyn since then. Gralgor took that place, the flat region of Swormundi, as his own territory, from where he would reign and the Cult of Calamity began to populate and build their cities and fortresses in the region. The battle became known as “Dragocide”. Before they fled, Gralgor managed to immobilize two female dragons, Arcacia and Visena, making them prisoners in his constructed kingdom where many of their race were killed by him.
11
Gralgor begins to attempt to destroy the largest forest in the world, the Vergan Forest. Despite its devastation, the forest and its residents resisted. With fire it would take too long, and by force, it would take even longer. So Gralgor gave up on decimating the forest, preferring to let his servants exploit it.
The dwarf general Zaroth was returning to the capital Goriath, after fighting the dranis of Malaris, with his entire army and thousands of civilian dwarves because of the dragon. But when he arrived at the gates of his city that he had served all his life, the gates were closed by order of King Vortran, he could not let that dragon have even a breach to the mountain. And so Zaroth and his subordinates were alone with the dragon that brought hell with it. However, the result was surprising. Seeing the anger and indignation of those dwarves, Gralgor spared them, and gave them a new home in the southwest, and that place was in the volcanic underground of Mount Olis, and in the fiery depths they made their home of iron and anger, Azgor. Zaroth renamed his people as Sindarklai (Calamity Dwarves), the followers of fire. In their volcanic citadel, they enslave, deforest, and forge weapons and war machines to serve the End of the World and to exact revenge on the dwarven capital of Goriath for abandoning them.
12
Gralgor goes to Abolith, which is already beginning to be dominated by the Sindarklai. Upon reaching the edge of the continent, he tries to decimate the Veptrans of the volcanic mountain ranges of Desan. Because they live inside the earth, Gralgor’s claws could not reach them and his fire did not affect them because they had lived in volcanoes for a long time. They were not only able to resist the dragon for a long time, but they also came out of the volcanic underground to attack the dragon. They could not hurt it, but they managed to irritate it, and a lot, they loved it.
The Calamity Dwarves, under Gralgor’s command, for the next few years raided the Veptrans in the Desan mountain range and volcanoes. Being naturally experienced in underground environments and heat, the Calamity Dwarves were ideally suited to attack one of the peoples Gralgor had never managed to subdue.
13
Having traveled practically the entire continent, Gralgor goes to Swormundi, where his kingdom is being built. He had no interest in floating pieces of land like the Gorpuren archipelago. In his capital, he began to abuse the two female dragons to bear his children. Both made a pact to step on and destroy the eggs that the other laid, so that the monster would not have descendants.
14
Revolts began against the lords who served Gralgor. This sudden courage was due to the absence of the dragon who was no longer seen. The best known revolt leader was the centaur, Paicran and his legion of horses.
Gralgor, along with the Sindarklai, attacked the main gate of Goriath. The dwarf king Vortran, Gralim’s father, jumped from the top of the mountain, sticking his axe near the Beast’s left eye, nearly blinding him, the first time anyone had wounded Gralgor. The king died, and in despair at the blow, Gralgor abandoned his army, causing their confidence and morale to drop absurdly, and they were decimated by the dwarves of Goriath. Gralgor never set foot or flew near that mountain again.
Despite their victory, the Sindarklai were fortunate enough to obtain the corpse of Vortran, the dwarf king of Goriath whom they so hated. Zaroth crucified and displayed the king’s body on high all the way back to their capital Azgor. Devoured by birds along the way, only Vortran’s skeleton remained when they reached their destination. To this day, the skeleton of the former king of Goriath decorates Zaroth’s throne room.
Vortran’s son, Gralim, takes over as the dwarf king of Goriath. He announces to the entire world that he himself will produce the armor of the one who will slay the dragon.
The most powerful wizard of the Helaw people, Solion, is visited by the spirit of his religion, Helavis, and is given the mission to search for the one who would free his people from captivity. With the help of his sister, Solion, being an avian, despite being old, managed to escape captivity and fly the world again after this hero.
Gralgor orders the separation of his two wives, as together they continually destroy the eggs that were supposed to produce their children.
17
Maliris began preparations to create the first generation of Ernadenaris, of which only one would survive to prove strong enough for the mission his father would give him: to kill the dragon Gralgor.
18
“Do you still believe in me?” Otes, near the sword in the stone, asked his brother Beud.
“Always”.
Otes removes the sword Drakynea from the stone. Together, he and Beud fly north toward the continent. They stop in Goriath, where Otes convinces King Gralim to make him his armor. The dwarf king agrees, and forges Mytrani, Otes’ armor. Now with his brother, armor, and sword, Otes sets out for the center of the continent to face the End of the World.
Otes kills the dragon Gralgor after a three days fight throught the lands and skies of the center of Eredwyn. This feat of worldwide proportions involving his weapon, allowed the god Kion to materialize the legendary city of Otesis in the Material Plane in the same place where Gralgor took his last breath, and for a good part of the region to be protected by a barrier against those who did not have good intentions. Crowds upon crowds of refugees and innocents entered the safety of Otesis, as did warbands fighting tyranny from across the continent.
Within this barrier, the forces of the End of the World worshippers were decimated. Beud found Visena, one of Gralgor’s wives, badly injured and weak, in the dungeons of the ancient fortress where Beast lived. He starts to take care of her, and it doesn’t take long for her to become his consort.
Solion, the first pilgrim to arrive in Otesis, at what became known as the place of Dragonfall. He tells Otes of the plight of his people, but now the hero of the world does not give him an immediate answer. After talking to Beud and hearing from Visena herself what Gralgor was doing to her, Otes reluctantly agrees to help Solion.
So Otes set out northwest, with his brother Beud, the centaur Paicran, and the Helaw wizard Solion, the First Pilgrim, who led the way to his homeland, now the country of Angoria. This began the First Great Ride. The god Kion’s barrier would protect Otesis and its surroundings for a few more years.
19
Kenast kills his father Jamast, proclaiming himself the Only Pharaoh, founding the Pharagort.
Otes kills the tyrant Grozur with a single blow in a one-on-one duel, freeing the Helaw people. Years within that barrier as slaves, now they saw the sun rise again as free people. And beyond the sun that shone in the sky, they witnessed the light of hope that came from the man who freed them, and that brightness was as great as the one that rose that morning.
This was the event, the liberation of the Helaws from Labiklian captivity known as the RISING OF THE TWO SUNS.
Solion discovers that he is now the uncle of a 4-year-old girl, called Linate, and that his sister was killed as an example after helping him escape captivity years ago. Seeing his people finally free fills Solion with joy. Although all the Helaw people celebrated together that day, Solion mourned alone.
Seeing so much joy, hope, admiration and thanks directed towards him made Otes feel pleasure, but also shame and guilt. With the Helaw people, they all began a long pilgrimage back to the safety of Otesis.
Kenast is advised by his officers to capture Otes and all those following him, as a way to prevent future trouble. Kenast argues that they are merely traveling through his lands, and that so far they have done nothing against his rule.
And in the words of the Only Pharaoh himself: “No innocent blood shall be shed in my desert by my order.”
Upon returning to Dragonfall, Otes found himself in a real battle. A remnant of the Cult of Calamity, the necromancer Virtros, swore to destroy the kingdom built on Gralgor’s death. Along with him, a wave of zombies attacked the barrier of the god Kion. To Otes’ surprise, the city was defended by powerful warriors. Many more had arrived in the months he had been away. Together with the newly arrived forces, they forced the undead hordes and their necromancer to retreat to the north.
With Solion as matchmaker, Otes marries Nalya, one of the helaws he freed in Labikla and they get to know each other well over the months leading up to Otesis. They were married in Ninlary, the main Ganaza (Helaw Church) of Otesis. Nalya and Visena ended up becoming very close as friends, until Visena agreed to be the dragon of the now queen Nalya, in the same way that Beud was of Otes.
20
Otes and his army attack Nazglar, a small fortress at the foot of the Warm Mountains in western Joturn. This is where Virtros was stationed, and he led his army of zombies against Otes’ forces. With a monstrous blow from Drakynea, Otes obliterated the necromancer, leaving a slash mark on the face of the mountain. This became known as the Battle of the Scar. Otes and his army attack Nazglar, a small fortress at the foot of the Warm Mountains in western Joturn. This is where Virtros was stationed, who pushed his zombie army against Otes’ forces. With a monstrous blow from Drakynea, Otes obliterated the necromancer, leaving a slash mark on the face of the mountain. This became known as the Battle of the Scar. Exploring the fortress, they found Arcacia, Gralgor’s other wife who had been separated from Visena. She was found weak, near death and with severe amnesia. They then sent her to recover in Otesis alongside her friend Visena.
Otesia, the eldest daughter of Otes, the first of the twelve, is born.
The god Kion’s shields would still last for a while. Otes heads with his army to Joturn, but not before impregnating his wife again.
There they attack the city of Meigador, and receive reinforcements from a warband that was fighting against the Successor Voligar. This band was led by the blonde elf Tyzel. In the midst of the attack, Voligar himself arrived with a large portion of his army to defend the city. Ice and shadows took over the battlefield.
The fight between the giant, Otes and Beud, was… brief. In one blow he put the 3-headed dragon on the ground, and Otes was badly injured by the fall.

“Is that it? This is the duo that killed Gralgor?” Voligar said, mocking the two fallen.
The centaur Paicran rescued Otes while Beud flew away, and they retreated the army south, out of Joturn. Ainolia, Otes’ second daughter, is born.
In the months returning to Otesis, Otes has a relationship with and impregnates Tyzel, who has joined his army. He had intended from the beginning to tell his first wife, hoping she would accept sharing the title of wife. To his surprise, they got along very well.
The peaceful time in Otesis since Otes’ return was short-lived, and Golenat sent his near-infinite army to attack. Kion’s barrier was still formidable. But it was only very effective against weapons and mortal beings. Something that Golenat and most of his troops were not. He was an interegor, a being created by a god. Because of this, he was barely affected by the barrier, thus managing to cross it along with his army. However, being inside it diminished Golenat’s connection to his god, weakening him, as well as each interegor under his command. Still, he believed that the numbers would be enough.
A sea of monstrosities and corrupted warriors flooded the city, and a battle raged both externally and internally. As all hell broke loose in the city, Tyzel lay in labor in the king’s chamber, and Nalya was helping her.
It was in this siege and battle that the great names that would become the founders of the legendary Otesis Legions shone.
Wukong Kaelos dueled with a Reaper of Minds who was killing dozens with a single scythe swing. The sight of death made the soldiers fearful of that interegor. Kaelos then went alone to face him. This feat earned him the nickname Death Winner.
The Loberian Ramos jumped from a building and killed a World Burner by piercing its skull with his spear. The demon’s body emitted so much fire that the buildings near it burned; no one could barely get close without being burned. And the Loberian jumped head first against the monster. He stood on top of the demon’s dead head, still on fire. Everyone called him Fire Bane.
The merman Dayon led the attack that resulted in the fall and death of a Life Devourer. He became known as the Giant Knocker.
A Lord of Chains invaded Ninlary, the ganaza of Otesis, where several Helean citizens were hiding. The kyuubi Helaw Alos dueled him inside the ganaza, protecting his people. Alos won the duel, sending the interegor back to his Profane god.
The human Harvam fought in front of one of the inner gates. That gate led to a set of shelters, where most of the city was hidden from the fighting. Harvam fought practically alone against the waves of demons that came to massacre the people. He reached the peak of resistance, fighting against 2 Peace Tyrants alone. Despite the dirty blows, backstabbing and each using the other to tire him, he defeated both without striking a single cowardly blow. There was no one else in that battle who was more cut, pierced or bled more than Harvam. The title of Harvam of the Thousand Wounds was no exaggeration.
During the fight, Golenat is taken to the balcony of the room where Otes’ third daughter was being born to Tyzel. With a magical blow, Nalya blows the interegor outward, sending he flying in smoke over the city. With his weakened troops defeated by Otesis’ forces, Golenat retreats outside the barrier.
Otes’ third daughter and Tyzel’s first, Inve, is born.
Kion’s barrier would last longer, and Golenat was forced to retreat into his territory. His absence was noticed by the Oni of Desoria, a horde of which invaded Golenat’s territory.
21
The dwarves of Goriath finally manage to reach Otesis through the continental Meriwich Tunnel, connecting the two cities through the tunnel. Thus, the people of Otesis would continue to receive food even while surrounded by the barrier.
A major infestation of Skerzans occurs in Otesis, coming from the underground. With the help of the Moloms, Otesis resisted, but would need to continue paying them to keep the cockroaches away from their underground. And Orle, the king of the Moloms wanted Mytrani, Otes’ armor. He accepted the deal, but would only hand over the armor when Kion’s barrier fell. The dwarves would line the tunnels with heavy metals to prevent further invasions.
For over a year, Otesis was abandoned by its enemies outside.
22
Nienja, Tyzel’s second daughter and Otes’ fourth, is born on February 2, 22.
The barrier of Kion fell. The forces of Otesis, together with the dwarves of Goriath, advanced against the few enemy troops left outside the barrier. The time of peace that the barrier bought them was worth it, for Otesis grew stronger. Its main forces were formally created and trained. The great Otesian Army led by Supreme Commander Paicran, the Left Head of the Dragon. The powerful wizards of the Magis Solis, followers of the Mage Counselor, Solion, the Right Head of the Dragon. And the legendary Otesis legion, composed of the knights who knelt only to King Otes Abiak, the Middle Head of the Dragon. Together with the dwarves of Goriath, and some moloms, they annihilated all the enemies that were near the Kion Barrier when it finally gave way after years.
“Enemies of Otesis, hear me. You should have fled like the cowards you are when you had the chance. And I thank you for staying to die with the ounce of honor you can never have. The king of this world is on our side and we are invincible. His warriors will spill your disgusting blood that is not worthy of touching this sacred soil. His flames will reduce your accursed bodies to dust that should not mix with this pure air. Your wicked corpses will be devoured and fed to his beasts that will purify the evil with which you have contaminated this world. You worshiped the Beast as you sucked the beauty from these lands and destroyed lives for your own diabolical pleasure. We follow the will of the Dragon King without swerving, and it is simple: the rebirth of this world to what it should be. And that will only be accomplished with your death. Consider yourselves privileged that your end will be in this glorious place, it is more than you will ever deserve. Prepare yourselves, we will do his bidding. And like The End of the World, you will die here.”
— Paicran, Supreme Commander of Otesian Army, announcing the attack of Otesis as the barrier disappeared.
After the battle, King Molom Orle made good on his promise to Otes. The moles protected them underground until the barrier fell. He wanted Mytrani, Otes’ white armor. However, the king of Goriath himself, Gralim, was present at the time, and this armor was a gift from him that Otes used to kill Gralgor. Giving such a precious gift from a dwarf to a molom would be incredibly disrespectful. Otes broke the deal, not giving the armor, only more gold than agreed upon. Orle could not collect at that moment, if he fought, he would die. He took the gold and returned to the underground with his race. The mole prince Praile was unhappy with the way it ended, not because of the breach of the agreement, but because of the poor relationship Otesis had with the moles. Little Otesia, just over a year old, was present at that disagreement, in the arms of her mother, and she would always remember the Moloms.
The celebration was great throughout Otesis, an absolute and overwhelming victory. Everyone celebrated when the weapons of Otes, Solion and Paicran joined together at the top, concentrating the will and favor of their three deities to light Gilias, the Beacon of Otesis. That fire was lit equally by the three deities, each one representing an aspect of what would be formed at that moment:
- The God Kion — represents Justice through King Otes Abiak, the Middle Head.
- The Great Spirit Helavis — represents Wisdom through the Wizard Advisor Solion, the Left Head.
- The Dreamborn Colibia — represents Freedom through Supreme Commander Paicran Eternalmarch, the Right Head.
“Our enemies have been very generous. They ignored us, they gave us a chance to grow stronger. And we will return the favor. Each of us knows what we have been through. The hurts they have caused us. What has been taken from us. The people we have lost. Gralgor was just the beginning. These tyrants who oppress and destroy, His Successors, are still alive, and they will not stop. They will not stop until they have taken everything from us. And I tell you, they have been doing this for too long. It is time for them to feel what they have done to each and every one of you. It is time for us to take something from them. This beacon is not just a sign to every needy person in this ruined world. It is a warning. A warning to every one of our enemies. WE ARE COMING! So shout, my soldiers! Show your fury! For it is through this fury that this world will be reborn!”
— King Otes Abiak founded Drakynium and declared the beginning of the Rebirth Wars.
Kenast encounters the Gilasi of the Cloud State. Refusing to serve the Only Pharaoh, they direct their home to float into the skies of Drakynium.
